The best stories we hear every year are those from real estate brokers whose clients insist that they be taken to the on-the-market house that is home to the Hamptons Designer Showhouse.  There are actually those who expect their broker to "show" the Showcase house so they don't have to spring for the $30 donation to Southampton Hospital.
